Taptilo 2.0+

Learning Braille has Never Been Easier—or More Fun!

Taptilo makes braille fun and interactive by incorporating learning by movement, touch and hearing. The jumbo-sized, child-friendly braille blocks can be easily manipulated by children or older students and help strengthen and refine finger movement. Students can easily follow along games and activities even on their own with dynamic audio and tactile guidance.

Taptilo features a base with two rows of nine, oversized Braille cells each. The top row holds nine removable, magnetic Braille tiles that allows the learner to press each of six Braille dots down or up to create the letter of their choosing. When placed on the base, Taptilo recognizes each tile’s configuration, making it possible for the system to read back what the user has created. Each Taptilo comes with a sturdy, water-resistant portable case.

The free app even allows the teacher to send specific words to the student’s Taptilo for practice, review or testing.
